How to fix QuickBooks Error 3371

•             Browse to the folder C:\Program Data\Common Files\Intuit\QuickBooks

•             Locate QB registration and right click on it

•             Select rename and rename it to QB registration

•             Close all the windows and re-open QuickBooks software.

Method 2: Recreating Entitlement Data Store. ecml – 

•             Close QuickBooks software from task manager (QB32.exe)

•             Browse to Entitlement data folder for the OS and version of QuickBooks

•             Locate C:\Program Data\Intuit\Entitlement Client\v8 (or v6)

•             Right click on Entitlement Data Store. ecml file and select delete

•             Click on Yes to confirm deletion

Now open QuickBooks Program and follow the activation process

Method 3: Re-installation MSXML components – 

MSXML components are windows core components that are used by my application to communicate with Operating System. Damage in MSXML components may cause QuickBooks Error 3371.

Download MSXML 6.0 from Microsoft website and install

•             Download msxml.msi installation file

•             Save it to your desktop.

•             Right click the msxml.msi file and click Run as Administrator.

•             Follow the instructions to install MSXML 6 till it finishes.

•             Now open QuickBooks software and try to activate. Check if the error persists.

Method 4: Windows Update – Install latest windows updates

•             Click on windows logo

•             Type windows update on search space

•             Click on Check for update (System Settings)

•             Click on the button – Check for updates

•         Windows will connect to the update center and download and install the latest windows      updates if required.

•             After downloads are installed re-install QuickBooks Desktop Software

•             Follow the activation process and check for the error
